You can see the Moon during the daytime because it reflects sunlight. The Moon doesn't emit its own light; instead, it reflects the sunlight that falls on its surface. When the Moon is in a position in the sky where it's not too close to the Sun, you can see it during the day. This is especially true when the Moon is in its crescent or gibbous phases and not too close to the Sun's glare.
