OSRIS-Rex 1st US Asteroid Sample Lands Soon

OSIRIS-REx is a NASA spacecraft mission designed to study and collect a sample from the near-Earth asteroid Bennu. It stands for "Origins, Spectral Interpretation, Resource Identification, Security, Regolith Explorer." The spacecraft was launched in 2016, arrived at Bennu in 2018, and successfully collected a sample from the asteroid's surface in 2020. The collected sample is expected to return to Earth in 2023, providing valuable insights into the early solar system and asteroid composition.
