Turmoil in America A Benefit to Terrorist Enemies

With tensions mounting throughout the United States that are dividing people across race, socio-economic, and political lines, the world's superpower is starting to resemble lesser nations. Particularly ones where conditions on the ground present opportunities for extremist factions to grow. Though America has seen tumultuous times before due to these divides and uncertainty about the future, these times present ripe opportunities for seemingly isolated instances of conflict to morph into larger movements. The kinds of movements that allow for a terrorist type enemy to capitalize on dissent and distrust. Though America is set up in a way to thwart that type of threat on a larger scale, we cannot afford to let divisions run deeper and threaten our way of life.
