Powerful Hurricane Irma filmed from space

Satellite footage from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) shows Hurricane Irma's eye as it swirls closer to the US coast. With reported sustained winds topping 180 mph, it has become the strongest Atlantic hurricane ever recorded outside the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean.
