Attorney General Letitia James initiated a case against Donald Trump following a campaign that prominently featured her pledge to target him. During the subsequent trial, Trump accused her of harboring racist intentions, asserting that her actions were driven by both personal and political motives, an accusation she vehemently denied.

In the wake of these allegations, several campaign videos reemerged, in which James explicitly expressed her determination to pursue legal action against Trump. Furthermore, an additional video surfaced in which she referred to Donald Trump and his administration as "too male, too pale, too stale."

The latter remark has sparked significant controversy, with many interpreting it as racially insensitive. Drawing parallels to the notion that labeling an administration as "too black" or "too white" would be considered racially biased, the comment has fueled perceptions that James' case against Trump may be tainted by personal bias and political motivations.
