On January 6, 2021 President Trump needed #MikePence to use The Electoral Count Act of 1887 to return the votes back to 6 states for reconsideration after their State Legislatures held hearings (links below) and found many irregularities indicating massive election fraud. (not "voter" fraud).

On July 20, 2022 Sen. #SusanCollins (R-Maine) introduced a bill called "The Electoral Count Reform and Presidential Transition Improvement Act of 2022" which changed the law to be sure no other Vice President could do this.

At the end of the year (just before the next congress took over, when the Republicans had gained back the House after the=November mid-term elections, voting for Kevin McCarthy to be the Speaker, the Senate approved the bill, which was attached to a year-end omnibus funding bill, in a 68-29 vote on December 22, 2022.

The House approved the bill in a 225-201 vote the following day. The Electoral Count Reform and Presidential Transition Improvement Act of 2022 was a bill signed into law by President Joe Biden (D) on December 23, 2022.

This is why Rep. #MattGaetz and 7 other Republicans voted KevinMcCarthy out of office, for not living up to exceptions of voting on separate issues. Bills like this get buried into other bills, that get stuffed in another big bills — and then votes on them before we can read it to see what's in it.

Now Democrats and Republican members of the #UniParty and the Deep State can rig the 2024 election without any more glitches like the Electoral Count Act of 1887 to ruin their plan, removing all safe guards to a fair and honest election. (Why else would they want to prevent States the possibility of changing their votes if there is fraud? To prent HONEST elections?)

If the Republicans ever get back the axis of evil from the Democrats (Oval Office, House, and Senate) they should "reform" this law in the OTHER direction and make it as hard as possible to change again.
