The full meeting of the Fairfield County Commissioners' weekly meeting for October 3, 2023. This week's meeting began with a Listen & Learn from Homeless Outreach representatives Marcy Fields, Miranda Gray, Tim Hubbell and Kerry Dreyer. This is another program in cooperation with NGO Lutheran Social Services (https://lssnetworkofhope.org/), and worth noting, an organization in favor of amnesty for illegal immigrants.

This was a long session this week with an additional presentation update from Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (www.MORPC.org/) representatives, Eileen Leuby, Joseph Garrity and Director William Murdock.

Public Comments started at 1:12:06 and ran through 1:32:00 with Ray Stemen talking about the lack of corporate prayer in public schools and closed with the Lord's Prayer for the commission.

Judy Stemen followed a similar suit, but pointed out how the commissioners refuse to open their meetings with prayer and that it was a practice that was done in the past.

Jim Knisley spoke in opposition to industrial solar projects in the county.

Paid activist, non-resident and renter Nick Bundren with Land and Liberty Coalition (www.LandAndLibertyCoalition.com) spoke in favor of industrial solar citing a property rights position.

Lastly, Sherry Pymer spoke in opposition to solar and countered Nick's property rights argument with zoning rights. Sherry also noted a Columbus Dispatch article from October 1 where it is reports the solar energy being generated at Yellowbud Project is going to large corporate users like Verizon and Amazon, not to residential users.

The remainder of the meeting consisted mainly of Legal, County Administrative Updates and their "Voting Pattern".
