Ribbon cutting & opening ceremony for Little Caesars Arena is Tuesday

With just one week until the first scheduled show at Little Caesars Arena, the ribbon cutting and opening ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday. The event will happen at 11 a.m. in the Chevrolet Plaza just outside of the arena. On hand for the celebration will include Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan, Ilitch Holdings CEO and President Chris Ilitch, Detroit Pistons Owner Tom Gores, Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder and more. WXYZ plans to stream the event live at 11 a.m. here.
