Spanish-American War was an 1898 conflict between the United States and Spain that ended Spanish colonial rule in the Americas and resulted in U.S. acquisition of territories in the western Pacific and Latin America. 3,000 Americans died during the Spanish-American war, but only approximately 385 died from battle itself. The United States emerged from the war a world power, obtaining areas like Hawaii and also obtained Cuba, the Phillipines, Guam and Puerto Rico although later some of those areas gained independence. All in all, God blessed us for standing up to what was right and true. April 21st to August 15th, 1898 in just 6 weeks it was a victory for the Americans and the end of hundreds of years of Spanish oppression. Sadly, most of the thousands of American deaths came from disease. In short, I believe freedom and independance was victorious over bondage and oppression. We need to see this for China. Pray for the PLA to turn to Christ first, then arrest the CCP. 10/6/23 LaX,Wis
