Cyberpunk 2077 Full Game Walkthrough Part 4 – No Commentary (PS4)
In Cyberpunk 2077, step into the first-person perspective of a mercenary named V. V’s voice, face, hairstyles, body type, modifications, background, and clothing are customizable. V survives by doing whatever it takes to make a name for himself in Night City. Night City is an open-world American megalopolis in the Free State of North California. It’s controlled by corporations, assailed by the laws of both country and state, obsessed with power, glamour, and body modification, and packed to the brim with things to do, places to see, secrets to discover, and people to meet. Night City sees conflict from rampant wars between gangs and its ruling corporate entities, both contending for dominance. The city is reliant on robotics for everyday aspects like waste collection, maintenance, and public transportation.
From the polished high rises of Corpo Plaza to the spacious outskirts of the Badlands, it’s up to V to decide where to go, when to go, and how to get there. V will be meeting a host of memorable characters, from rockstar rebel Johnny Silver-Hand, played by Keanu Reeves, to a variety of fixers, friends, and enemies, all of whom have their own agenda. Who V chooses to help and how won’t always be easy, and it’ll have far-reaching consequences for him that shape his journey and the people around him, but with great risks come great rewards in a city where legends are made.
When starting his journey, V will have to choose between one of three life paths that create a background identity for V that alters his story's starting point, prologue, dialogue options, the characters he meets, and more. These life paths are Nomad, Street Kid, and Corpo. The Nomad Life Path is one that revolves around V as an outsider to Night City. The Street Kid Life Path is someone who's no stranger to the streets of Night City. The Corpo Life Path is all about holding one's own while navigating around people consumed with money, power, and respect.
In this walkthrough, V chooses the Corpo life path, taking on the job of a lifetime, stealing a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality, and uncovering the mysteries of this priceless implant everyone is dying to get their hands on. V also invests in a variety of skills and perks to build a playstyle that’s unique for an all-rounder, enabling him to engage in amazing gun-blazing combat while aiming, running, jumping, and double jumping, all the while using upgradeable ranged weapons from a distance with Direct Assault, as well as well-aimed stealth headshot takedowns from cover, utilizing Quick Hacks to take out enemies and clear his way forward. There are five attributes that V can improve as V gains experience: Body, Intelligence, Reflexes, Technical, and Cool, influencing the character classes that V assume, which are Net-Runner, Techie, and Solo. Body Determines V's raw physical power, broken down into three subcategories: Athletics, Annihilation, and Street Brawler. Reflexes determine V’s maneuverability, broken down into three subcategories: Assault, Handguns, and Blades. Technical Ability represents V technical know-how, allowing V to unlock doors and use Tech weapons. Intelligence determines V’s net-running proficiency, broken down into two subcategories: Breach Protocol and Quick-Hacking. Cool determines V’s resilience, composure, and effectiveness in operating from stealth, broken down into two subcategories: Stealth and Cold Blood. There are three types of ranged weapons, all of which can be customized and modified: Standard Power Guns, which function as normal guns; Tech Guns which penetrate walls and enemies; and Smart Guns with homing bullets. V mostly uses his three favorite guns, which are a silenced revolver known as “Overture” and two “Defender” machine guns that are all standard power guns. V consults Ripperdocs to purchase and upgrade body-enhancing Cyberware implants in the black market, which offer military-grade abilities to become the best hired gun in town and gunsmiths to repair and upgrade weapons. The rarity of any given piece of equipment is shown by a colored-tier system, with white being common, green being uncommon, blue being rare, purple being epic, and orange being legendary. Four types of damage can be inflicted and resisted: Physical, Thermal, EMP, and Chemical.
Follow V’s journey while he takes on all Main Missions, Side Quest, Gigs, Cyberpsycho Missions, and all NCPD Scanner Hustles, collecting all possible Tarot cards throughout the map, to go from low-level hired mercenaries to Night City Cyberpunk legends. V will not be reading all lore-related reading materials as it would be time-consuming and would disrupt the viewing experience, while also not chasing after all the Ionic weapons unless he finds them naturally throughout his journey.
