95-YEAR-OLD WAR VETERAN EVICTED TO MAKE ROOM FOR MIGRANTS

Korean War veteran Frank Tammaro was abruptly informed he had to vacate his nursing home with less than two months' notice.

THE REASON?

The facility was being converted to house undocumented migrants.

"Everything was done behind closed doors – we didn't have a chance to... stop them because there wasn't enough time."

Thankfully, Tammaro could move in with his daughter, but I am sure not everyone there was so lucky.

Rep. Nicole Malliotakis criticized the city's priorities:

”Our tax dollars...should not be utilized to house citizens of other countries, especially at the expense of our senior citizens and veterans."

This incident underscores the tension in New York City as it grapples with an influx of migrants, stressing its infrastructure and housing resources.

This is a heartbreaking story to hear.

Not only is Tamara an American citizen, he is a VETERAN. He fought in the Korean War to defend his country, and is now being evicted in his golden years.
