MAGA fact vs. RINO claim: The truth behind Speaker McCarthy's removal - October 6, 2023

RINO CLAIM: 8 Republicans voted with Democrats to remove former-Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

MAGA FACT: Every Democrat in the House voted with Rep. Matt Gaetz and 7 other Republicans.

The RINOs now say Gaetz never had (or doesn't now) have a "plan". Another false RINO claim. The plan was to make Rep. Kevin McCarthy the Speaker of the House if he agreed to single-issue spending bills (12) instead of massive Omnibus bills; and if he broke that promised, Gaetz would move to vacate. McCarthy broke his promise, Gaetz reminded him of what he'd do, and McCarthy told him "Bring it" when he thought a backroom deal he made with Pelosi would save him with enough Democrat votes.

So it was the RINOs who lied. It was a Republican who initiated the motion to vacate, not a Democrat. This is exactly WHY Rep. Matt Gaetz initiated the motion to vacate: because McCarthy lied to get their votes to be Speaker of the House, then broke his promise to them. The RINOs want you to believe Rep. Matt Gaetz and 7 other Republicans conspired with Pelosi and the Democrats to remove former-Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

But it was the EXACT opposite. McCarthy made a deal with Pelosi to have his back, and he trusted her, but she lied to him. The Republican Speaker of the House thought the former Democrat Speaker of the House would help him betray his fellow Republicans.
