Exodus 34:14
Do not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.

PRINCIPLE
The Name of God identifies who He is and how He connects with us.

PRACTICE
• What’s in a name?
• Not everyone who invokes the generic name, god (elohim) is speaking of the
LORD (Elohim).
• It is vital that we know the Name of our God and can readily identify Him,
distinguished from all others.
• His character, His fame, His attributes are represented in His Names. • The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
• The God of Israel.
• IAM(hāyâ)IAM
• The Name (HaShem)
• YHWH (Jehovah)
