Iran's Narges Mohammadi wins 2023 Nobel Peace Prize

Narges Mohammadi, a jailed Iranian women's rights advocate, won the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize on Friday (October 6). The head of Norwegian Nobel Committee Berit Reiss-Andersen started her announcement by saying, in Farsi, the words for "woman, life, freedom" - one of the slogans of the peaceful protests against the Iranian government.
