Even on Mars, the seasons fluctuate, and NASA's fleet of explorers is assisting researchers in understanding how these changes affect the Red Planet. Daily weather updates are produced by NASA's Perseverance and Curiosity rovers, which gauge surface variables like humidity, temperature, and wind speed. Storm size and scope are surveyed from above by orbiters including Odyssey, Mars Atmosphere and Volatile Evolution (MAVEN), and the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO). The spacecraft may encounter difficulties due to shifting weather conditions. In order to fly in the summer's thinner atmosphere, the Ingenuity Mars Helicopter recently upped its rotor speed from 2,537 rpm to 2,700 rpm. In the meantime, one of the largest and longest-lasting marsquakes ever recorded by NASA's InSight lander, which is exploring Mars' interior, was recently measured.
