During Donald Trump's $250 million civil fraud trial in Manhattan, the presiding judge expressed frustration on Wednesday. He forcefully struck his hand on the bench and exclaimed, "This is ridiculous," in response to the former president's lawyers scrutinizing his ex-accountant for contradictory testimony.

The judge's exasperation was triggered by Trump's legal team asserting that Donald Bender, a partner at the accounting firm Mazars USA, was avoiding their inquiries. The attorneys also repeatedly emphasized the need for a meticulous examination of Trump's financial records with Bender, focusing on a year-by-year analysis.
