Apesar de a gente chamar de Centro histórico, verdade a história da cidade de Oeiras iniciou no Riacho do Mocha mais precisamente no bairro do Rosário.

Nesse centro histórico temos a Igreja antiga o Museu o cine teatro e outro prédio que durante muito tempo funcionou como a câmara dos vereadores de Oeiras.
