Family identifies 11-year-old girl missing in the Kern River

Family members have identified the 11-year-old girl last seen in the Kern River as Mya Calderon. Kern County Search and Rescue Officials said just before 1 p.m. Friday Mya and her 57-year-old grandfather went missing in the Kern River near the Sandy Flat Campground in Keyesville. KCSO said search and rescue crews were able to rescue the grandfather about 200-300 yards down the river.
