This race for Speaker of the House seems to be boiling down to three names: Rep. Steve Scalise, Rep. Jim Jordan and, yes, former President Donald Trump.

The question is: Does it matter who the GOP picks? Will they be able to do the job without Rep. Matt Gaetz lurking in the shadows? Speaking of the job....what is it that we expect out of a Speaker who has such a slim majority?
