Here is a recipe for Indian Butter Chicken:

Ingredients:

1 kg boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
1/2 cup yogurt
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
1 teaspoon garam masala
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
1/4 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
For the tomato-butter sauce:

1/2 cup butter
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup tomato paste
1 tablespoon garam masala
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
1/4 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:

In a large bowl, combine the chicken, yogurt, lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, cumin, coriander, chili powder (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
To make the tomato-butter sauce, melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the crushed tomatoes, heavy cream, tomato paste, garam masala, turmeric powder, cumin, coriander, chili powder (if using), salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
Add the marinated chicken to the pot and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
Serve the butter chicken with rice or naan bread and enjoy!
Tips:

For a richer flavor, use ghee instead of butter.
If you don't have garam masala, you can make your own by combining equal parts ground cumin, coriander, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and black pepper.
Adjust the amount of chili powder to your taste.
For a smoother sauce, you can puree it in a blender or food processor before adding the chicken.
Serve the butter chicken with your favorite toppings, such as cilantro, chopped onions, and yogurt.
