As you are likely aware by now, Kevin McCarthy was voted out as Speaker of the US House on October 3rd. In a sense, it was a coup by the extreme right-wing anti-Freedom Caucus who were calling the shots. In this video, I will talk about the razor thin majority of Republicans from the 2022 midterms, how Matt Gaetz borrowed a never used left-wing tactic called Force-The-Vote to use in his favor twice in 2023, why the progressives should have used it ruthlessly in 2021 (yet missed an opportunity), and the prospects of who could replace Kevin McCarthy whereby I provide recommendations just for shits & giggles.
