New Comedy Thursday - Akua Doku & Aditya Mayya -EP473

Aditya Mayya is a Canadian comedian, filmmaker, and writer based in New York City.

He has been the recipient of several awards, including the 2020 Award of Excellence in Writing and the 2017 Josh Goldfaden Award. He has written for several comic publications, including The Black Sheep, Washington Square Local, and The Follow Up KC's "If This Were a Newspaper."

He has performed across New York City and Toronto, appeared in 2021's NY Underground Comedy Festival, was a semifinalist at 2021's AMG Comedy Festival, and was in the All-Star Showcase at the inaugural Loons on the Lake Comedy Festival. He can currently be seen as a host and performer at Crash and Burn Comedy, a stand-up show held every Wednesday night at Starr Bar in Bushwick.
