I cover the Catachan Mk1 sword, its general strengths and use cases, and how to swing the thing effectively. This is one of the best starter weapons in Darktide, alongside the combat axe. This weapon tutorial was made in Patch 12 and Patch 13 has changed some of the damage properties and interactions but not the general character of the weapon. While its an interesting weapon and fun to use and may have new life as a late game weapon but it still is likely to be overshadowed by specialized choices for each class.
