Tenuous Pop Up by Tom Main

"Tenuous Pop Up". In this video you will notice that I have the Kronos' window "open". It is open on the drum patterning menu. I am selecting patterns on-the-fly in this piece. This is an alternative to using the scenes, which I may still use using this method. The Wavestate is connected to the Kronos using MIDI and forms part of the Kronos' sound regime. I am using the Hammond XK5's drawbars extensively to create texture and colour to the Hammond's sound. I am also using its harmonic percussion at 2' loud and short. The Leslie is internal. This piece is a recreation of a piece I performed at the TNT in Seattle, back in 2002, performed then on the Korg Triton Classic. I hope you find this of interest and enjoy the music. Love, Tom 🙂
