NASA mission to asteroid returning to Earth
2 years ago

As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, NASA had several asteroid missions in progress or planned. One of the notable missions is OSIRIS-REx, which was launched in 2016 and reached the asteroid Bennu. The spacecraft collected a sample from Bennu's surface in 2020. OSIRIS-REx is scheduled to return to Earth with this sample in September 2023. This mission aims to provide valuable insights into the origins of our solar system by studying material from an asteroid.
Please note that there might have been further developments or other asteroid missions since then. To get the latest information on NASA's asteroid missions and their status, I recommend visiting NASA's official website or checking recent news sources.
