Ed Ward Fishing Two Flies for Bass - OPST

Ed Ward pushes his 3-weight to the limit, with a two-fly rig consisting of a good-sized "Knot-a-Fly" and a popper. To throw this cumbersome rig he uses a 200 grain Commando Head- about 25-50 grains higher than he would use with a smaller fly. He pops along the popper, slowly, making a surface disturbance that often draws pike and smallmouth bass to either fly. As you can see, he has a lot of fun.
