Kevin McCarthy was removed today as the speaker of the house of representatives by a vote led by Matt Gaetz of Florida

Funding for the Ukraine war was never popular with most of America, especially Maui in grave need of aid, and there was a belief in the House of Representatives that the Speaker had cut a side deal with the White House to continue the funding within a new upcoming bill -
