Matthew 6:9a - To Whom Are We Praying?

This text introduces what is most commonly called "The Lord's Prayer", however, it truly is a model prayer for those who follow Jesus to follow. The first words Jesus teaches us to pray instruct us greatly about who God is, the One to whom we pray. What does this teach? What should be our thoughts as we approach God in prayer?
