In Egypt, archaeologists have made a remarkable discovery involving hundreds of ancient jars containing the remains of 5,000-year-old wine.

This significant find was uncovered by a team of researchers at a royal tomb within the Umm El Qa’āb necropolis, as disclosed in a statement by Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities (MTA) on Sunday.

These wine jars, remarkably, appear to have remained sealed and unopened for millennia. Alongside these jars, well-preserved grape pips were also found, Newsweek reported.
