Trump Says He's Focused on the WH Run Amid Republicans Floating Him For House Speaker

Trump rules out Speaker run despite Reps. Nehls, Steube & Greene publicly floated nominating the former President to replace the deposed McCarthy, saying his total focus right now is making a return back to the WH & "quite honestly, making America great again"

"A lot of people have been calling me about speaker. All I can say is we'll do whatever is best for the country and for the Republican Party... If I can help them during the process, I will do it. But we have some great people in the Republican Party that could do a great job as well… But my total focus is being president and when honestly making America great again, because we are living in a country in decline"
