Haley surpasses DeSantis in New Hampshire poll

Nikki Haley’s surge appears to be gaining genuine momentum.

A recent poll conducted among likely Republican primary voters in New Hampshire reveals that the former South Carolina governor is now in second place, surpassing Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

According to the Suffolk University/Boston Globe/USA TODAY survey released on Wednesday, Haley leads DeSantis by a margin of 19 percent to 10 percent.

However, both candidates still lag significantly behind the frontrunner, Donald Trump, who enjoys a commanding lead with 49 percent support in the poll.

This poll, which surveyed 500 likely GOP primary voters and was conducted after the second debate, carries a margin of error of plus or minus 4.4 percentage points, Politico reported.
