Open Door Policy

Ever heard the expression "it's like a revolving door in here". At times CIOs and other IT management tends to not consider the obvious on why many of their staff are unhappy and instead blame other factors, instead of what is easily the source of the issue. Whenever anyone brings to their attention things may need to be changed or complaints in regards to processes and procedures, instead of taking into consideration what is said, most times those who use the Open Door Policy and voice their concerns, are met with hostility with the IT management essentially threatening them with insubordination or simply tell them if they don't like it, they can leave.
