The Dahlia Sewciety - Deluxe Box | Enchanted Palace Parlour Pink |Unboxing|Aussie Sewing Vlog|No.51

I may not have a pink parlour, but what I do have is the Spring Deluxe box from The Dahlia Sewciety which I knew had Fabric Godmother fabric in it this month, 3 metres of it in fact! I’m eating the coconut ice while I’m typing this up (it’s a two-serving bar…. But I’m going to eat the lot!).

As usual during the unboxing I had no idea what I might make with the fabric, does anyone else’s brain just evaporate when they are on the spot like that? I’ve since watched Kristen’s video that comes with the box and love the dress that we have as our discount this time. I know, I totally forgot to mention the discounted pattern. It’s the Giulia dress from Fibre Mood, lovely easy wear column/sheath style with an elastic waist. I think I’m even going to make it up in the fabric. I couldn’t believe how gorgeous Kristens was in the video. Simple dress that leaves all the work to the fabric and when you have such a beautiful fabric the dress just sings.
