Data Shows Home Prices In Cedar Park & Leander TX Aren't Falling

No matter where you get your news, I’m willing to bet you’ve heard someone say home prices were falling at some point over the past year. And, if you’re like most people, that made you a little nervous.

But here’s the thing. A lot of that talk has been really confusing. Here’s what the actual data tells us.

This shows the percent change in home values month-over-month from three sources.

Here’s what I want to be sure you notice about these.

While there were a few red months when home prices did decline a bit, that trend ended earlier this year.

Now, focus on the green bars on the right. They show prices have been back on the rise for months.

And it’s not just one source that’s saying this. I’ve got three here, but there are more. I just couldn’t fit them all in.

The big takeaway?

No matter what you’re hearing in the news, the most recent numbers tell us home prices aren’t falling anymore.

So if you’re worried about prices, don’t be. Sure, they vary by area, but nationally they’re climbing again today.
