Bow hunt 2018, Monday morning November 12th, It was 28 degrees 12 mph wind from the NW, 16 degree wind chill, pretty cold but an exciting morning. In the stand at 5:00 at 5:15 five deer came through, all I could see were silhouettes, but most were good sized, I believe does, they ranged from 10 to 25 yards from me. Later I had a doe fawn come through, and then a running doe which must have been in heat it caused quite a ruckus as she was being pursued by a young buck. Then another young buck joined in on the chase, and came within 10 yards of my tree. I had to leave early for a welding project at 9:00 but seen a nice eight or ten before I left but he was circling where the doe was that the other bucks were chasing earlier in the morning he was 60 yards away through the woods. The doe in heat never came closer than 40 yards to me so the bucks didn’t either. I hunt with a PSE Stinger 3G compound bow, with a Buschnell holosight, Carbon Express arrows, with Shockwave 125 broadheads.
