Minecraft and the Bible - Exodus 17-20

In this Let's Play series, we'll be reading the next chapters of Exodus from the Bible while playing Minecraft! We'll follow along as the Israelites continue their journey to the Promised Land, facing challenges along the way. We'll also see how God provides for them and leads them through his Word.

*as an additional side note, this is my first experience with Minecraft, so this Let's Play will probably move a bit slow.

Exodus 17: The Israelites complain about the lack of water, and God provides water for them from a rock. The Israelites fight the Amalekites, and Moses prays for victory. The Israelites are victorious, and Moses builds an altar to God.

Exodus 18: Moses' father-in-law, Jethro, visits him and gives him advice on how to lead the Israelites. Jethro suggests that Moses appoint judges to help him with the workload. Moses follows Jethro's advice and appoints judges to lead the people.

Exodus 19: The Israelites arrive at Mount Sinai, where God prepares to give them the Ten Commandments. God warns the Israelites to stay away from the mountain, and he gives Moses the Ten Commandments.

Exodus 20: God speaks the Ten Commandments to the Israelites. The Ten Commandments are a set of laws that God gave the Israelites to guide them in their lives. The Ten Commandments include laws about worshiping God, honoring parents, and not killing, stealing, or lying.
