I heard the click or perhaps saw flash off a rifle barrel that the cell phone cam doesn't pick up. I got down, still listening thinking my dog was right behind me. I jumped at what sounds like an air rifle. My dog came trotting down the alley, looking at where the shot might have come from. I looked to see if anyone was walking away and thought the person who starts questioning me was the one who fired the shots. Yet, he called the police when I walked away. The next shot hit my dog, leaving a big scrape across his neck. He became very, very sick, running a fever off and on for a month. It is turns out that he is the same person waiting at the back gate, revving his engine.
