A masterwork that promises to captivate the world of music for its unique pairing as well as the combination of sublime poetry and the unparalleled musical genius of the two legends. An alchemy of soulful gayaki and technical mastery in this first ever musical production featuring legends Abida Parveen and Shafqat Amanat Ali.

The track is a mystical journey of pure melody penned by the celebrated Sufi mystic Bedam Shah Warsi. A disciple of Syed Hazrat Waris Ali Shah, his poetry has been a confluence of modern Urdu idiom, Punjabi as well as Farsi traditions that preceded him. In fact, the kalam he wrote in the Purbi ang led to him being titled “Khusrau-e-Saani” and it reflects the essence of the basic nuances of all Sufi concepts that speak of love towards the murshid and the Divine.
