Rep. Scott: Eight GOPs who voted to oust Rep. McCarthy ‘don’t care about strategy’

Representative Austin Scott (R-GA) says last Friday’s continuing resolution, which lost 20 Republican votes, was the “most conservative piece of legislation we ever had an opportunity to adopt.” Rep. Scott says the eight Representatives who voted to vacate Representative Kevin McCarthy as House Speaker have created a scenario where no other conservative lawmaker has “any other choice.”
