Genesis 49:29-50:14 - In His Death Jacob Shows His Faith in God - 8.13.23

The burial of Jacob is a grand event, and with it Jacob (although dead) makes a few points. By his request he shows his family the way back to God's promise, which he has been speaking about in the last few chapters. He also demonstrates what he values by being buried in the backward land of Canaan, that God promised, and not in the affluent and prosperous Egypt.
