Matt Gaetz wins battle to oust Kevin McCarthy as house speaker after historic vote! Is this bad?

Kevin McCarthy has been removed from his position as Speaker of the House, with Rep. Matt Gaetz prompting the move. Rep. Patrick McHenry is now the temporary speaker, as he was McCarthy's chosen successor.

Eight House Republicans, including Andy Biggs, Bob Good, Eli Crane, Ken Buck, Matt Gaetz, Matt Rosendale, Nancy Mace, and Tim Burchett, voted to oust McCarthy, along with all Democrats, resulting in a 216 to 210 vote.

Three Republicans initially opposed tabling the motion but later voted against it. Rep. Tim Burchett, one of the Republicans who voted for McCarthy's removal, alleged that McCarthy belittled his faith during a recent phone call.
