All you need for this homemade spiral slicer for potatoes is an empty can and a few odds and ends. Watch the video to see what steps you need to take to make a spiral slicer like this.

The advantage of this is that you can twist a potato through it at the end and then have a spiral cut potato. You can pull this over a skewer and then put it in the oven.
