I did not get it to flash twice in a row on demand. I did notice when talking about the die (dice) which it never touched, that the ball did flash twice in a row (I think). After I pointed out how much it was touching the ball the activity stopped for the rest of the afternoon.

The ball is on carpet, leaning slightly against carpet, and that droning noise is just my camera, not a fan or anything running in the room. It was the middle of March after all.
