Lilly Singh's Ted Talk: Why Her Show Failed (And How Women Can Succeed in Entertainment)

In her Ted Talk, Lilly Singh, a Canadian comedian and actress, discusses the reasons why her late-night talk show, A Little Late with Lilly Singh, failed after only two seasons. She blames the failure on a number of factors, actually just one factor: sexism in the entertainment industry.

THis came to light on Twitter when many (myself included) notice that she seemed to be ignoring the fact that her show was trash.

Singh's talk is a warped and demented viee at the challenges faced by women in entertainment. She shares her own experiences of being underestimated and overlooked, allegedly. All of her statements and stories seemed improbably and false. She also offers "advice" to other women who are trying to make it in the industry. I'm kidding her advice consits empty platitudes she stole motivational IG as accounts and horrible critics of economic systems.

In addition to being informative and inspiring, Singh's talk is also very funny. If you haven't caught on yet, this was written by AI and I have been having to manually correct the description everytime it lies. I.e. I think anyonewho watche the talk would agree it was not inspiriing, and not only was there no information to gain from it, theres was a ton of bad information. One could argue there was actualy a negative amount of information in her talk.

She is known for her self-deprecating humor and her ability to connect with her audience on a personal level. Minus the fact her audiance is either bot farms or people whos first language isnt english, so I find the notion of her connecting with robtos and horned up custumer sevices representatives to he rich. Also she would need to posses the ability of self reflection and empathy to be self-depracating. And she a woman which cannot = funny (statistically).

This video is a must-watch for anyone interested in the entertainment industry, feminism, or simply wants to hear a funny and inspiring story. The previous sentence literallty couldn't be further from the truth. I hate the enterainment industry, i think feminism should fall under the DSM5 and I actively try to uninspire everyone i come into contact with. Hopefully i am funny though. Let me know...
