Philadelphia journalist fatally shot in his home

In a tragic incident, a Philadelphia journalist and community activist lost his life in a shooting that occurred at his residence overnight, as confirmed by the police.

The incident was reported to law enforcement at 1:28 a.m. on Monday, at the home of Josh Kruger located in the 2300 block of Watkins Street.

Mr. Kruger, aged 39, sustained seven gunshot wounds to his chest and abdomen. He was rushed to a local hospital but was sadly pronounced dead at 2:13 a.m.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and the motive behind the shooting is still under investigation, according to the police, NBC News reported.
