Huge fireball lights up sky above UK city

A massive “explosion” resounded through the skies of Oxfordshire this evening, triggered by a lightning strike on a gas tank, resulting in a colossal fireball shooting up into the nocturnal heavens.

Law enforcement authorities have confirmed their ongoing presence at the site of the blazing inferno, which dyed the sky a fiery orange hue and was visible from miles away, the Daily Express reported.

Residents in the vicinity of Oxford promptly took to social media, sharing images and videos capturing the awe-inspiring sight of the fireball illuminating the sky at approximately 7:20 pm on this Monday, October 2.
