Sermon Text: Psalm 127; also, Eph 6:1-4; Col 3:20; Pro 23:12-26
Sermon Outline:
1.) The Lord is our Builder (Psalm 127:1-2)
2.) Our Children are our Blessings (Psalm 127:3-5)
• Children: do (1.) what you are told, (2.) when you are told, (3.) with a respectful attitude.
• Children: obey willingly from your heart knowing you honor and obey God by honoring and obeying your parents.
• Children: be warned that disobedience is destructive for you and dishonoring to God.
• Children: understand that authority biblically-used is life-giving and God-glorifying.
• Children: take joy in knowing that your home should not revolve around you but God.
• Children: discipline from your parents is a beautiful extension of God’s grace to you.
• Children: turn to Christ who was perfectly obedient and died for your disobedience.
