Metro Detroit woman, husband use boat to help Texas flood victims

A metro Detroit woman and her husband, who are living in Texas, are one of thousands of people who are using what they have to help the victims of the catastrophic flooding in Texas. Sarah Langer, who is from Romulus, now lives in Dallas with her husband, Pete. On Wednesday, Sarah and Pete drove from Dallas to the Houston area today, launched their boat and are now helping rescue victims of the flood. According to Sarah, they are in the Memorial area, west of Houston, which is impacted by the Addicks Reservoir overflow. Flood waters are dropping in the area, but at least 20 people have been killed due to the flooding.
