Here I am heat treating my 1085 high carbon steel blades using a very simple method. I used a cheap coleman stove and a blow torch to heat treat a knife this time. I actually heat treated two blades, and both managed to get past non-magnetic and hardened. This might not work on a bigger knife as my knife blades were only 2-3 inches in total. But I thought I would give it a go this way and it managed to work! Enjoy the video,

Dave
