My Dog Resists Walks Every Single Time

My dog doesn't like walks. He has always been like that since he was about a year old. When I did take him, he would ask to be carried. He likes to be at home and enjoys his backyard. He doesn't want to be out of the house. Every time I take him for a walk, it's resistance training.
